SGD recently produced the bottle for the fragrance Gold Jay Z in its Georgia factories. According to the glass manufacturer/decorator, the shape of this bottle was very challenging, with a narrow foot, wide surface, thin sides and shoulders. An additional challenge was presented with the sharpness of the engraving, and decorating this engraving, which required extreme precision. SGD says its expertise in pad printing enables them to push the limits and achieve a flawless pad print to highlight the engraving with a gold print. The formulation of the organic gold ink was optimized for a perfect contrast with a matte white spray.
